Hey Mr. Mud. How are you doing, good to know that convention was really good. I read that post…Got couple of arguments in the last section where u give those examples regarding how we would act in mordern day …Good points… But I think they were a bit too extreem/arguable/garbage…

1. “But how would you react if I came in to eat with dirty hands? ”

First of all, I don’t think Jesus ate with like really really filthy hands. If there was any sort of filthy visible dirt in his hands, I bet He would have for sure cleaned/washed them. I don’t think He was an idiot for him not to clean his hands or an unclean person. The pharisees only asked that question because the disciples did not do the ceremonial washing of the hands like other people used to and wanted to trap Jesus. It was not because their hands were filthy dirty.(Mark 7). I think in today’s society most people don’t wash their hands. Why would they have to… Most of them use forks and knives. If Jesus was in living in today’s society I bet he would be using one too. I being born to the special race of malu eat with my hands… and to be honest I don’t wash my hands unless there is like visible dirt or I just came from the gym/played basketball etc. I don’t think I’m unhygenic in any way… Jesus itself states that

Are you so dull?” he asked. “Don’t you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him ‘unclean’? 19For it doesn’t go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body.” (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods “clean.”)

20 He went on: “What comes out of a man is what makes him ‘unclean. (Mark 8:18-21)

So basically Jesus never came and ate with dirty hands… it never states that in the Bible. They were unclean to the other idiots only because he did not do the ceremonial things.

2. If I didn’t know who my father was, but walked around claiming to hear his voice?

The first thing that came to my mind was that how u easily forget that he just did not simply hear the father’s voice and started blabering things. He did miracles that impressed people, He spoke with so much authority that awed the people… People did have interest.

Matthew 7:29

because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law.

Matthew 9:8

When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to men.

Mark 1:22

The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law.

Luke 4:36

All the people were amazed and said to each other, “What is this teaching? With authority and power he gives orders to evil spirits and they come out!”

There are tons more verses I can provide…but overall people just did not think he was some kind of maniac who just heard some guys voice and claimed that he was his father. They knew there was something special with him because he proved it with his actions too. The only reason they crucified him was because they were men with brick hard hearts. So even today, if he said he was the son of God and he proved it with actions, there would be tons of people following him and they would not think he was crazy.

3. or if my friends were arrested as public nuisances?

U relate that with “His believers were accused of “turning the world upside down”. So disruptive.” – I really don’t have an answer for that…But just a quick question…I don’t know but I cant really think of any incidents that during the life of Jesus that the believers ever turned the world upside down. Do you? Maybe after his death and resurrection..Sure there have been cases, but during His ministry …I really cant think of any. So basically, I don’t think that line could be even taken as an argument.

4 or if I walked through the lobby at Ohio convention overturning the tape sellers tables?

Woah!!!Aree you stating that our church, esp our church has been converted to a den of thieves during convention???That’s a real cruel statement to state buddy… esp on our church when one of our basic principles is about living a faith life…I’m pretty sure Idon’t have to explain that to you because you know it good too…You comparing over turning tape sellers to the monely lenders and merchants in the temple is completely wrong. First of all they did that stuff back in the days to make profit – WE DONT… we do it because to help our believers and just to cover the costs that’s all…We don’t make any profit out of it and I believe, to God selling tapes in convention is perfectly fine. Those brothers/sisters do that ministry with lots of prayer. So there is NO possible way you could ever compare the money lenders to our tape ministry.

Anyways thats all I have to say now..don’t worry,I’m not mad at you…just giving my piece of mind…thats all…take care buddy…and please try to get people involved..Alll you girls and guys who read this..Please…just please post something up…Maybee like “this is a test”..C’mon get involved….

thanks ..
